WolfQuest Anniversary Edition Challenges and Tips

The Denless Challenge

Possibly one of my favorite challenges, the Denless Challenge is where once you have your pups, you click move den, but you do not actually go to another den. You stay denless.

RULES:

1. The minute your pups are born, you MUST click move dens. You cannot stay at the den any longer.

2. You can leave your pups in the tall grass patches while you hunt or mark territory, but do bring your pups whenever possible. Ex: Your going to go mark territory in a hex that’s really close so you bring your pups. (I would not bring them hunting as the prey can hurt and possibly kill your pups.)

3. You can go to rendezvous point if you like since they’re not that different to tall grass patches, but you cannot stay at a rendezvous point for more than 3 Tage. Sobald die 3 days are up you have to move to another rendezvous point. (You can return to previous rendezvous points, but only after you have stayed at 2 other ones.)

I have added some extra rules such as bringing your pups with you when possible, and the switching rendezvous points, so if you want to play the classic Denless Challenge you don’t have to do those rules.

The Mateless Challenge

This is a challenge where you try and raise your pups without your mate to help you. You have to kill off your mate early in the game. I would suggest to kill off your mate by playing chicken with bison and attacking rival wolf packs. Make sure you have mate permadeath on.

Regeln:

1. You gotta do what you gotta do. Find some bison. (Kill off your mate early in the game)

2. Do not find another mate. If the option of getting a new mate presents itself, verlassen.

3. Raise your pups alone.

This challenge is simple but hard. It makes marking territory, hunting and raising your pups much harder. Make sure that if you mate is female you do not kill her off before she gives birth to the pups. The game will end if she dies before the pups are born. If your mate is male, kill him off when you first arrive at Slough Creek.

The Runt Challenge

Play as a wolf that has all negative stats. If your looking for an extra challenge then play as a wolf with double the negative stats. (-2)

Regeln:

1. Just make sure to have all negative stats.

2. Play on accurate if you want to make it impossible.

Wieder, kind of a simple but hard one. Have fun struggling!

I NEED WATER Challenge

(Don’t know what name the community calls it but I quite like the one I came up with). This challenge is all about water. Your wolf is obsessed with water. Major things like finding a mate and having pups must be near water.

Regeln:

1. When your finding your mate you must be near a water source when doing courtship.

2. When finding a den you must choose one near the water.

Stay hydrated besties 😉

You Got a Grudge Challenge

Also known as the Grudge Challenge this is where you choose a pack to have a deep hatred for. I would recommend the first pack that attacks your pups or you could spin a wheel.

Regeln:

1. If a wolf from that pack approaches you must fight it until it is really low on health. (Up to you to decide if you want to kill the wolf)

2. If a wolf in that pack is interested in becoming mates you cannot choose that wolf. (even if they’re 4 Sterne)

3. Try and take over as much territory from them as possible.

Enjoy the Grudge Challenge!

Respect for Territory Challenge

Your the only wolf around that actually respects borders. Do not cross into another packs turf.

Regeln:

1. You cannot step foot into another packs territory. If you do you must leave immediately. Your prey got lucky this time.

2. If another pack took over one of your hexes you cannot reclaim it. Gotta keep the hexes high.

Aww Your So Nice Challenge

Also known as the Nicest Wolf Around challenge you cannot attack other wolves.

Regeln:

1. Cannot attack rival wolves or dispersals.

2. Even if rival wolves are attacking your den, all you can do is snarl and growl. Choose a good mate.

This is one of the harder challenges. Lets hope you get your pups into the den in time.

The Headcam Challenge (Would not recommend)

I would not do this but if your a physco its here. Basically you have to stay in headcam mode for most of the time. Obviously you can’t eat and fight in headcam mode but other than that you have to be looking from your wolves eyes.

Regeln:

1. Stay in headcam mode for as long as possible.

2. If you need to eat or fight you can exit.

3. Scent mode counts as you go into headcam mode anyways for that.

The MEGA Challenge

Play with a long line of wolves and every time you play as one of your pups you spin a wheel to determine which challenge to do for that generation. I quite like this one as it spices up your gameplay quite a lot.

Some Extra Things

I hope you guys liked this guide! I will be adding more challenges to do soon but right now I hope you have fun doing these. If you want a bit more of a challenge then I would try and combine challenges. Zum Beispiel, the Denless Challenge and the Mateless Challenge together adds a whole other layer of toughness. Viel Spaß!
