This has been a long time coming, sorry about not getting this patch out much sooner.
We wanted to bring many of the engine improvements from Hammerwatch 2 to Heroes of Hammerwatch, this has taken longer than we expected and we’re sorry about the lack of communication from us.
A lot of our core technology has been updated and to no longer use the unstable networking service it was previously.
Mainly this is a fix aimed at improving multiplayer experience, but it should also improve stability and performance in general.
- Multiplayer now runs only over Steam when two or more Steam users play together
- Set bonus descriptions are now more consistent across sets
- „Not your lucky day“ now works as expected
- Fixed a fringe case where resistance bonuses wouldn’t show correctly on the character sheet
- Splitshot Ballista now appears in bestiary
- Improvements to issues with getting pushed out of bounds in Battlements
- Some visual minimap fixes
- Moon Temple reworked to be a bit more free to spread out in multiplayer
- Editor now supports rotation and 3d models
- Performance Improvements
