This guide will show you all types of dice, Upgrades, and mods that you can make in Die in the Dungeon: Ursprünge.
Basic Dice Types
Angriff:
- Using the red color, you can hurt the enemies.
- Wenn du anfängst, your basic level can roll a 1 oder ein 2.
Block:
- With the blue color, you create a shield to protect yourself.
- Am Anfang, your basic block level also rolls a 1 oder 2.
- Any extra shield you have will go away when it’s your turn again.
Schub:
- The boost is purple or pink.
- It makes your other dice stronger.
- Aim it at different spots on the board, each with its own value.
- The regular boost die can roll a 1, 2, oder 3.
Heilen:
- If you use the green color, you can get healthier.
- The basic healing die can roll a 1, 2, oder 3.
Dice Upgrade Tiers
Basic Tier:
- These are the regular, non-upgraded versions of your dice.
- Wenn Sie das Spiel starten, and in the early rounds, you’ll mostly use basic dice.
- They usually give you low numbers like 1, 2, oder 3.
Silver Tier:
- The next level up from basic is the silver tier.
- If you choose a silver upgrade, two of your basic dice become silver.
- Silver dice tend to roll middle-level numbers like 2, 3, oder 4.
Gold Tier:
- The gold tier is the highest level for dice.
- If you get a gold upgrade, you can turn one of your silver dice into a gold one.
- Some dice have multiple gold tier upgrades, making them even more powerful, with more faces on the die, but they still stay in the gold tier.
The Very Rare Dice
Mirror Dice:
- These dice look silver or gray.
- When they target another die, they show the same result as the targeted die.
- Normalerweise, they roll a 6, but sometimes they can roll a 5 or even be empty.
Terrain Dice:
- These are tan or brown-colored dice.
- Placing them on a tile boosts that tile by their own value.
- Terrain dice are NOT boosted by terrain spots.
- The boost value of terrain dice decreases by one each turn.
- Boost dice are not affected by terrain boosts, but terrain dice ARE boosted by boost dice.
Prism Dice:
- Prism dice are teal-colored and act like a mix of boost and mirror dice.
- They reflect the boost they receive and add their own value as well.
- Prism dice are also influenced by terrain boosts.
- When used with the Bullseye relic, they can cause exponential damage by reflecting terrain boosts back and forth, doubling the damage each time.
- If a mirror die targets a prism die, all the spaces the prism targets will be mirrored together. Zum Beispiel, if the prism is targeting both an attack and heal, the mirror will show the value of BOTH the boosted attack and heal dice.
Dice Mods
Wachsen:
- If a die has the Grow property, its value increases by one each time you use it.
- Every time you play this die, it gets a little bit stronger with a +1 Schub.
Glas:
- Glass dice are special because once you play them, sie sind „exiled“ and can’t be used again.
- Normalerweise, dice go back to the bag and reroll, but not glass dice.
- You can manage your deck better and streamline your hand using glass dice.
- Some relics like Unpolished Shards boost the value of glass dice, and Evergreen Sap lets you use them again if you have enough energy points.
Schwer:
- Heavy dice stick around on the board for as many turns as their value.
- Jede Runde, their value decreases by 1.
- There’s a relic called Forge Hammer that prevents the value loss, but only if you have enough energy points left at the end of your turn.
Hohl:
- Hollow is a property that makes placing a die cost no energy.
- This allows you to play more dice in a turn without using extra energy.
- It’s a good mod for many dice types, and there are relics like Bucket of Paint or Snake Eyes that provide a similar effect, letting you play more than 3 dice without extra energy cost.
Blitz:
- Flash is a powerful mod for your dice.
- It lets you play the die immediately before ending your turn.
- This is useful for defeating certain enemies, like the Banshee, before they can attack.
- You can also use flash strategically, targeting one enemy and then changing to another before ending your turn.
- Combining flash with boost dice and terrain is strong, allowing you to boost an attack, heilen, or block in the same turn.
- The relic Mark of the Chosen One triples the base value of a flash dice when it’s the only space occupied on the board.
Legendary Named Dice
Certain dice have special names, and these names are just for looks, but they show that the dice is really special and top-tier.
- Overkill: This one usually has a golden color and is all about doing a powerful attack.
- Lucky One: Now it’s a heavy prism die, but in the old game, it used to be a block die.
- Miracle: This die is all gold and helps you heal, but it doesn’t have the glass thing that some others do.
- The Holy One: This die is super special. It’s a gold attack die, but it only ever rolls a 6.
- The Poop: This one starts basic, only rolling a 1, but if you upgrade it, it turns into a golden Overkill die.
