Arcadius – What and Where to Get Stuff

A simple guide on how to pick up objects in the game, and where to find every pickupable object.

Warum?

Why would you want to pick up objects? Other than selling them for profit, items can (Or rather will be able to) be used for different things like Alchemy (Demnächst erhältlich!) or crafting in the case of fishing rods.

Wie?

How do you pick up objects you find littering the ground? Einfach! You just press and hold the „F“ key on your keyboard and a small gauge will appear. Upon emptying completely, you will obtain the item. You can now find your new item in your inventory by pressing the Tab key on your keyboard.

Was?

What items can you obtain exactly? Also, items that can be picked up by the player (Du!) enthalten:

• Crimini Mushroom – A grey, rounded mushroom.
• Flachs –  Long stringy weeds.
• Glow Mushroom – A translucent blue mushroom.
• Oyster Mushroom – A grey, inverted mushroom.
• Poison Mushroom – A bright green mushroom.
• Roter Pilz – A red mushroom with white spots.

Wo?

Und schließlich, now that you know exactly what to obtain and how you can obtain it, where do you find it all? Now we will go over the location of every key F obtainable item currently in the game. The list will be in order of difficulty to locate from the immediate spawn area, so the most common objects will be listed first.

Roter Pilz

The Red Mushroom is tied with Flax as the most common and easily obtainable item. To obtain this mushroom, we only need to head North from the spawn location until reaching the top of the small cliff dotted with Birch Trees. Directly to your right where the trees stand, you can view several (3) small red and white mushrooms.

Flachs

Flax is tied with the Red Mushroom as the most common and easily obtainable item. To obtain Flax, we only need to head North from the spawn location until reaching the top of the small cliff dotted with Birch Trees. Simply turn left and you will be able to see several tufts (5) of Flax behind the Teleportation Stone.

Poison Mushroom

Poison Mushrooms are also rather easy to obtain. To obtain Poison Mushrooms, we only need to head North from the spawn location until reaching the top of the small cliff dotted with Birch Trees. After climbing the cliff, continue heading forward until you enter the mouth of the cave ahead. After walking a short distance, a few (2) Poisonous Mushrooms can be spotted along the left wall, in-between two different ores.

Oyster Mushroom

The Oyster Mushroom and the Crimini Mushroom are tied for the second hardest item to obtain on Chibi Island, solely because of the long distance to their location. To obtain the Oyster Mushroom, Head East from the spawn location until you reach the edge of the shore, a sandy island in the distance. From the shore, swim toward the island. This will take a minute as your speed in water is a bit slower than on land. Remember though, you can hold Shift even in water to move faster. Once you reach the island, the mushroom (1) will be right in front of you.

Crimini Mushroom

The Crimini Mushroom and the Oyster Mushroom are tied for the second hardest item to obtain on Chibi Island, solely because of the long distance to their location. It’s actually very close to pond. To obtain Crimini Mushrooms, head North from the spawn location until reaching the top of the small cliff dotted with Birch Trees. Von dort, head west along the path beyond the flax. After passing the different ores along the path, take a right and head toward the large structure with the Arcadius symbol on it’s face. Take the next right and follow that path ignoring the open area on your right. Ahead of you is the pond, behind which is several (3) of the mushrooms you are looking for.

Glow Mushroom

The Glow Mushroom is the hardest item to obtain on Chibi Island. There is a single Glow Mushroom nestled on top of Mt. Chibi, which you will have to climb to be able to obtain. I will be uploading a separate guide on what i’ve found to be the easiest way to climb Mt. Chibi, which you can use to (Hoffentlich) easily obtain the rare Glow Mushroom.
