This guide will show you how to unlock and get the Backworlds achievement called “No Such Thing as a Brontosaurus,” where players are tasked to achieve maximum separation of head and body.
Overview
Finding a good guide for this achievement was hard. But now that I figured it out, I made a guide for those who might need it later. You’re welcome. To unlock the achievement, you need to hold something with your head and make it as far from your body as you can. You have to stay still and move the object with your brush.
No Such Thing as a Brontosaurus
Achieve maximum separation of head and body
Location
I did it in the desert area, using the water brush and wind from one of the puzzles. Here’s where it happened on the map:
Explanation
To begin, use the brush to draw something similar to this:
Your final aim is for the box to reach this spot:
To succeed, stand in the bottom left corner of the room, above the corridor, while holding the box. It will float upward and to the right because of the water and wind.
First, ensure the box doesn’t rise too high by painting only up to the needed height. Second, give the box momentum to the right as it starts rising. This will help it reach the wind and float to the target spot.
I recorded my screen when I unlocked the achievement. Just follow my steps, and you’ll succeed too.
Conclusion
I hope this guide was useful for you. I found the idea to use this room from the one other guide for this game on Steam. However, their explanation wasn’t detailed enough for me, so I made my own guide. Nevertheless, don’t forget to drop a like on that guide as well!
