This guide for the Gold Puzzles in The Talos Principle 2 is designed to provide hints without giving away direct solutions. East 1: Jump Start

Tools: Connector, RGB Converter x2, Hexahedron, Fan

1. Experiment with various configurations of your RGB Converters to see how they interact.

East 3: Non-Overlapping Magesteria

Tools: Connector, Inverter x2

1. Ensure all three tools are outside the puzzle area by establishing a system to maintain the required light without them being inside.
2. Utilize the Inverter effectively to alter the light it produces as you progress through the solution steps.
3. Once you grasp the necessary steps, the solution becomes relatively straightforward.

North 1: Vantage Point

Tools: Connector, Hexahedron

1. With two receivers and only one Connector available, strategize how to utilize them effectively.
2. Prioritize getting a character inside before attempting to open the blue door.
3. Keep in mind that a Connector can hold a button just like a box can.
4. Once the Hexahedron is no longer needed, pass it back to the starting area for future use.

North 2: Embodied Cognition

Tools: Connector, Accumulator

1. Bring the Connector into the puzzle area, then remove it afterward.
2. Navigate the challenge of crossed connections to gain access to both light sources.

Tools: Gravshifter, Hexahedron, Inverter

1. Utilize the Gravshifter to pass through the blue barriers one at a time.
2. Consider how to bring the Gravshifter to the other side, where it may not be as immediately useful.
3. Although the Gravshifter cannot act directly on itself, explore indirect methods to manipulate its position and overcome obstacles.

South 3: Thrust Vector

Tools: Connector x2

1. With two Connectors and three connections needed, at least one Connector will need to serve multiple purposes.
2. Utilize “thrust” as the primary means to influence the position of a Connector.
3. Although the movable platform’s lip allows for back-and-forth movement, this is not the solution.
4. Ensure to set up the blue receiver as the final step before progressing through the puzzle.
5. The first red receiver can only be reached by the light when a Connector is positioned very close to it.

West

West 1: The Mule

Tools: Teleporter, Connector, Driller

1. Employ the Rail Drone strategically to access the Driller.
2. Utilize the Teleporter along with the Driller to gain extensive access to the level, ensuring to retrieve the Driller afterward.
3. Consider how the doors operate and leverage the Rail Drone accordingly to facilitate your progress.
4. Position the Connector near the end goal, ensuring it is set up to be useful.
5. Use the Driller to hold open the blue light barrier, allowing for further advancement.
6. Repeat the process used to initially enter the puzzle to complete it successfully.

West 2: Hollow

Tools: Activator x2, RGB Converter, Connector

1. Chain your Activators together to unlock additional areas.
2. Begin by using the green Activator to initiate the setup process.
