Mod Description
This mod was created in order to increase the level of realism of the original TOAW graphics.
You can find further samples comparing the vanilla graphics with the enhanced ones inside the zip file.
باختصار, contrast and saturation were adjusted to make things more real and discernible, some new textures (water and deep water) were created from scratch, some others were tweaked and some were taken from my Boardgame Mod. Hills overlay was enhanced in order to prevent the white veil effect of the original one, making them less noticeable when mixed with any vegetation graphics, but noticeable enough; some level of border volume was created in order to prevent the extremely flat appearance of coasts. Colors were also adjusted to allow smoother transitions between terrain types.
Installation Guide
- Download the file from this وصلة.
- Open your “Documents > My Games > The Operational Art Of War IV” مجلد;
- Backup your “Graphics Override” folder and your Opart 4 Fonts.ini file;
- Copy the zip file content to the folder and you are ready to go.
Read the installation instructions inside the zip file if you don’t want to keep the interface graphics.
