How to Fix PSO 2 New Genesis Launching Error

Nope, doesn’t work for me. Just opens a small window, looks like it downloads something real fast, the the PSO2 splash screen shows up for a few seconds, and then bam, no game and the Steam play button is green and ready to launch again.
Same with me. The game won’t work at all and I followed all of these directions and can’t find any other resources.
Guess I just won’t play.
Installed from Steam like any other. Why are the file edits even nessasary? ثم…they don’t even work or fix anything.
