Outlast – All Documents and Notes Locations

This guide will show the locations where you can find all documents and notes in Outlast. Obtaining all of these collectibles will also unlock several achievements.

الفصل 1: Administration Block

First Document

You’ll find the initial document in your car.

First Note

To spot the first note, take a good look at the hospital from a nice angle using the camera.

Second Document

Discover the second document inside the “a 214” room.

Second Note

Upon entering the library, engage with the wounded soldier by holding the camera.

Third Document

Locate the third document at the table in front of the security body.

Fourth Documents

After navigating through the room full of computers, find the fourth documents in the dark area on the right side, in front of the boxes.

Third Note

Use the camera to observe patients watching a broken TV.

Fourth Note

Prior to reaching the security room, observe the middle corpse in the left toilet with the camera.

Fifth Document

Next to the computer desk in the room called “a 126” after passing the security room, you’ll find the fifth document.

Sixth Document

After descending the stairs next to the elevator and passing through the wall, discover the sixth document on the table on the right.

الفصل 2: Prison Block

First Note

Check out the writing on the wall with the camera after waking up to find the first note.

Second Note

Upon passing through the wall, head upwards and talk to the guy with your camera to discover the second note.

First Document

After climbing the narrow stairs, you’ll come across the first document. When you see a man writing on the wall in blood, turn left and look at the table in the dark.

Second Document

Upon passing through the window, enter the security room on the left, then turn right to find the second document on the table.

Third Note

After leaving the window, move forward and use the camera to witness Chris Walker tearing off a man’s head to reveal the third note.

Third Document

Upon entering the shower room with the card, find the third document on the table to the right side of the room. You entered by passing through the window edges.

Fourth Document

After passing by leaning against the wall, discover the fourth document on the coffee table next to the bed in the cell with the door half-open on the left.

الفصل 3: Sewer

First Document

Upon entering the sewer, when the man passes you, انعطف لليسار, and by a broken ladder, you’ll find the file right there.

First Note

Before proceeding through the illuminated path in the sewers, enter the door on the left. Listen to the man with your camera to discover the first note.

Second Document

When you jump into the dirty water for the last time, climb the road ahead before turning left. Continue through the first door you come across to find the second document.

First Note

After spotting the sign for the men’s ward, don’t climb the stairs. بدلاً من, continue on the road in front of you. Look at the corpses with the camera from the door to uncover the first note.

Second Document

Open the rightmost door in the toilet you come across after jumping from the vent to find the second document.

Fourth Note

After eliminating Trager with the elevator, use the camera to reveal the fourth note.

Third Documents

After meeting Father Martin, walk past the corpse in the dressing room. It will be in front of the lockers.

Fifth Note

Engage with the guy who set the entire cafeteria on fire with your camera to find the fifth note.

Fourth Document

After leaving the dining room, turn right and enter the dark room. Find it on the table in front of the window.

Sixth Note

After extinguishing the cafeteria fire, go to the kitchen. Enter the left door and capture the plate full of fingers on camera to discover the sixth note.

First Document

On the last table in the room on the right before exiting, you’ll find the first document.

Second Document

When you continue straight after leaving the exit, there will be a file in front of the writing on the stairs.

First Note

Just look at the Walrider with the camera to uncover the first note.

Second Note

After meeting up with Chris Walker and going through the small hole, look at the corpses in the fountain on the right with your camera to discover the second note.

الفصل 6: Female Ward

First Note

After passing through the cabinets, gaze at the camera-operated machine from the window on the left to discover the first note.

First Document

Before ascending the stairs, head to the right and collect the file on the table.

Second Note

Look inside the elevator with the camera to find the second note.

Second Document

Descend the stairs next to the elevator and go through the door on the right. Head left, and the document will be on the table there.

Third Document

When you jump over the edge of the wall, enter the room, fall, and come out again. Go through the door on the left, turn left again, and the file will be there.

Third Note

After encountering the Walrider, go through the open door and enter the room on the right. Look at the writings with the camera to unveil the third note.

الفصل 7: Return to the Administration Block

First Document

After spotting Chris Walker, enter the half-open door on the left and go into the ventilation. Turn right and continue to find the first document.

Second Document

In the room entered from the left after throwing the body down, there is a file on the computer table in front of the window.

First Note

Watch the entire video with the camera to reveal the first note.

Third Document

The file on the box in the room across the stairs.

Second Note

Enter the door on the left of the room where the man is standing in front of the large window and continue left. Enter the room with the open door and listen to the man with your camera to discover the second note.

Fourth Document

After passing through the last wall on the left, turn right and enter the room called “b 329”; there will be a file on the table.

Third Note

Meet Father Martin and watch him die with the camera to find the third note.

First Note

View the lobby with the camera to discover the first note.

First Document

On the table in the lobby, you’ll find the first document.

Second Document

After opening the door to block A, head to the second door from the left to find the second document.

Second Note

After jumping over the blue boxes, enter the door on the right and look at the painting with the camera to reveal the second note.

Third Note

Watch Chris Walker killed by the Walrider to discover the third note.

Third Document

After passing through the gas chamber, go to the right and take the file from the table.

Fourth Note

Watch the Experiment Lobby with the camera to find the fourth note.

Fourth Document

Take the file from the front of the machine; it’s the fourth document.

Fifth Note

Watch the man with your camera to uncover the fifth note.

Sixth Note

Watch the life support machine with the camera to find the sixth note.

Fifth Document

The file is in the room full of computers; it’s the fifth document.

Sixth Document

After the gas chamber, go up the stairs and pick up the file on the table; it’s the sixth document.

Last Note

Watch the man in the glass balloon die with your camera to discover the last note.
