The developer of AliveDesktop has released a new update for the game on April 14, 2024. Here are the new things that you should expect to see or change on this new update. This information was curated directly from the official announcement on Steam.
Update content
- Optimization: Add Mod loading progress prompt in the status bar.
- Optimization: Add mouse hover prompts to some UI (for example, the toolbar above editing mode will prompt corresponding shortcut keys, and the status bar icon below will prompt corresponding names).
- Optimization: Improve built-in help documentation.
- Optimization: [PC Mode] When grabbing an object and holding down X, scrolling the mouse wheel can rotate the object around the Z-axis.
- Optimization: [Editing Mode] When adding a new decoration, the attribute window will synchronously display basic information such as the position of the decoration.
- Optimization: [Editing Mode] Supports clicking the arrows on both sides to collapse the hierarchy and attribute windows.
- Optimization: [Editing Mode] Add a hierarchical window for easy viewing or multiple selection of various objects in the scene in the form of a list (objects that accidentally fall out of the scene no longer need to keep falling down!):
- Fix: Scaling objects that use the Joint component (such as chairs) will deform.
Development log: Due to the runtime performance optimization of Unity, it is currently not possible to achieve the function of model vertex alignment.
